There is nothing like that first sip of iced coffee on a hot summer morning. You feel instantly awake, energized and excited about the day to come! While some mornings, any caffeinated drink will do the job, we believe that this rich and delicious homemade iced mocha should be added to your summer bucket list. This recipe, created by the Lindt Master Chocolatiers, will quickly find its way into your heart. Garnish it with a sprig of fresh mint and a cinnamon stick for extra flavor!
2.5 cups of milk
1 bar (3.5oz) Lindt EXCELLENCE 70% chocolate
1 cup of strong coffee
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk
Add the chopped chocolate, stirring up until completely melted
Stir in coffee and cinnamon; remove from heat
Cool to room temperature
Add remaining milk and chill until ready to serve
Shake and strain into a tall glass with ice.
